Raw Lab is a systematic exploration of the space of possible facial movement patterns with the aim to unearth and identify the fundamentals of electro-facial choreography.
An explorative computational language,
The Language of Facial E-motion, formalizing facial features and logical operations was specially designed for this purpose.
The composite video shows a few of a large range of
choreologic probes into so called
dynamic face space; it identifies and names choreographic patterns like for example the
Nose Loop, Lip Flip and Brow Broom.
